Most birthday cakes we make are one or two tiers, between ten and forty portions, finished in the same buttercream and sugar work as the wedding cakes.
The flavour can come from the house list or from a memory: a cake someone grew up with in another country, or the fruit that is good this week.
Collection from the studio in Málaga, or delivery along the coast.
How it works
Tell us about the day
The date, where it happens, how many people and the look you like. The form or a WhatsApp message is enough.
Design and quote
We reply with an idea, the flavours that suit it and a written quote, within two working days.
We bake it
The cake is baked and finished in the days before, so it arrives fresh rather than frozen.
Collection or delivery
Collect from the studio in Málaga, or we deliver and set it up at the venue.
Questions we are asked
How much notice do you need?
Two to four weeks for most celebration cakes, longer for a dessert table or a busy weekend. Ask anyway if the date is close; sometimes there is room.
How big should the cake be?
Tell us the guest count and whether the cake is dessert or something to hand round with coffee, and we size it. A 20 cm tier serves about twenty people as dessert.
Can it match a theme, a colour or a logo?
Send the colours, a photo of the invitation or the logo file. We will say what works in sugar, what is better printed and what we would not do.
Do you deliver?
We deliver from Nerja to Estepona and set the cake up on site. Further afield is possible with a delivery quote.
